+ Michigan State (22-5, 13-3 Big Ten) defeated Penn State, 90-64. The Spartans' victory is their second straight and ninth in 11 games. MSU now leads the all-time series against Penn State, 22-3. State's home record against the Nittany Lions improves to 14-0.
+ The senior class departs MSU having established an 81-42 career record and a 55-7 four-year record at the Breslin Center.
+ Chris Hill capped off his career at the Breslin Center with 21 points, 15 of which coming on 5-of-8 shooting from behind the arc. With five three-pointers, Hill has 304 career three-point field goals and sits in fifth place on the all-time Big Ten list, four behind PSU's Joe Crispin.
+ Alan Anderson registered 22 points and 10 rebounds, marking his second career double-double. Anderson made good on 4-of-6 three-point attempts, setting career highs for both three pointers made and attempted in a game.
+ Kelvin Torbert's intensity on defense led to four steals, tying a career high. Prior to his senior campaign, Torbert was named the team's best defensive player three years in a row.
+ With three steals, Tim Bograkos showed why he's been one of the hardest working Spartans over the last four years. Bograkos tied a career high in steals, and his three assists tied a season best (vs. Northwestern, 01/08/05).
+ Senior Andy Harvey earned the first start of his Spartan career, and appeared in his 22nd game. Harvey recorded his first field goal as a Spartan in the game's opening minutes, scoring on a put back that resulted in a three-point play.
+ Alan Anderson posted his third 20-point game in the last four outings, netting 22 points vs. Penn State. Anderson didn't record his first 20-point game until the 116th game of his career, scoring a career-best 28 against Wisconsin (2/24/05).
+ MSU boasted four players who scored in double figures en route to the win over Penn State: Alan Anderson 22, Chris Hill 21, Kelvin Torbert 11 and Maurice Ager 11. State is 11-1 when four or more players score 10 or more points.
+ The Spartans recorded their highest assists total of the season, with 28 on 36 baskets.
+ The Spartans converted their defensive effort into offensive output, producing 32 points off the Nittany Lions' 23 turnovers.
+ Coming into tonight, Penn State averaged a league-leading 12.71 offensive rebounds per game. Michigan State held PSU to only seven offensive boards, while State grabbed 16.
