* Michigan State improved to 24-3 overall and 13-2 in the Big Ten (tied for first with Penn State). The Spartans can clinch a share of the Big Ten championship with a win over Michigan Wednesday.
* The 24 victories are a new single-season record for MSU, surpassing the 1976-77 team that finished 23-6.
* MSU's 13 Big Ten victories match the most in school history. The 1990-91 team finished the Big Ten season 13-5.
* MSU has now won eight straight games, extending its school record for consecutive Big Ten victories.

* Kristin Haynie led MSU with 19 points, nine assists, seven steals and three rebounds. She tied her season highs in all three categories, and she moved into eighth place in Big Ten history with 316 career steals.
* Lindsay Bowen scored 16 points for MSU and hit three 3-point baskets. She moved up one spot to seventh place in MSU history with 1199 career points, and her 203 career 3-pointers are 15 shy of the MSU record.
* Haynie and Bowen both sank a pair of free throws in the final minute (Bowen with 53 seconds left, Haynie with 5.4 seconds). For the season, Bowen is now 23-25 from the foul line in crunch time (score in single digits in the final two minutes plus overtime), while Haynie is 13-14.
* Kelli Roehrig added 14 points and nine rebounds for MSU. She now has 601 career rebounds, which ranks 15th in MSU history.
* Liz Shimek had nine points and nine rebounds for MSU. She moved into 14th place in MSU history with 1,036 career points.
