Paul Davis Named NABC Second-Team All-District

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State junior center Paul Davis (Rochester, Mich.) was named to the NABC All-District 11 Second Team. This season, Davis is averaging 12.4 points and a team-best 7.1 rebounds. He ranks sixth in the league in rebounding and eighth in field-goal percentage (.565). He has recorded double-doubles in three of the last four games. Davis also earned all-district honors last season.
Illinois' Deron Williams, Luther Head and Dee Brown, Wisconsin's Mike Wilkinson and Minnesota's Vincent Grier were named first-team all-district. Davis is joined on the second team by Marquette's Travis Diener, Southern Illinois' Darren Brooks, DePaul's Quemont Greer and Wisconsin's Alando Tucker. District 11 consists of schools from Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin.
