ANN ARBOR, Mich. - The Michigan State women's soccer team tied the Michigan Wolverines in its regular season finale on Friday night, 0-0. The Spartans move to 10-4-5 on the season and 6-2-2 in Big Ten play, while Michigan moves to 7-8-3 and 3-6-1 in the Big Ten.
Sophomore goalkeeper Nicole Galas (Sterling Heights) made six of her eight saves in the first half, earning her record 10th shutout of the season. Galas set the single season record for shutouts Oct. 21 against Minnesota.
Next week, the Spartan women head back down the road to Ann Arbor for the Big Ten Tournament, Nov. 3-6. For more information visit www.msuspartans.com.
