
Price Paces Spartans At Eastern Michigan

Ypsilanti, Mich. - The Michigan State cross country team had a strong race today in the EMU Classic at the Eagle Crest Golf Course in
"Sarah ran a great race," said Head Coach Rita Arndt-Molis. "She proved she can compete at this level and she will likely run next weekend at Big Tens."
Emily Adama (Newaygo) finished 13th in a time of 18:57.3, while Sarah Stornant (Portland) and Aimee Keenan (Belmont) crossed the finish line together at 19:13.0 to finish 15th and 16th, respectively. Junior Sarah McCormick was 21st in a time of 19:39.1 and freshman Nancy Boyd was 33rd in 21:04.0 to round out the Spartan finishers.
"We had great races today," Arndt-Molis said. "Especially from some of our younger runners, who posted personal records and showed that they will be ready for an even bigger impact next season.
Freshmen Diane Hamilton (11th), Rachel Griffen (14th) and Jena Donlin (27th) ran unattached and all three turned in collegiate bests.
