* Michigan State improved to 18-3 and 7-2 in the Big Ten. The 18-3 mark is the best in school history after 21 games, while the 7-2 Big Ten record is the best after nine league games since 1996-97.
* Michigan State's senior class of Kristin Haynie and Kelli Roehrig has now won 76 games over the past four seasons, which is the most in any four-year period in MSU history.
* MSU improved to 31-21 all-time vs. Indiana. The Spartans have won five straight against the Hoosiers, including three straight in Bloomington.
* MSU scored a season-low 52 points. It's previous season low was 54 points at Ohio State. MSU also allowed a season-low 40 points, bettering the mark of 42 set during the season opener against Central Connecticut State. It was the fifth time this year MSY has held a team below 50 points.
* The 52 points for MSU were the fewest the Spartans have scored in a victory since a 50-42 win over Buffalo in the 2001-02 season opener.
* Despite scoring just 52 points, four players scored in double figures for MSU. The quartet of Kelli Roehrig (13), Liz Shimek (13), Lindsay Bowen (12) and Kristin Haynie (10) combined for 48 of MSU's 52 points. Victoria Lucas-Perry scored the other four points, and didn't get her first point until just 4:25 remained.
* MSU had zero bench points for the first time this season. Indiana also had no bench points.
* MSU outrebounded Indiana 49-24, including a whopping 31-9 margin in the second half. MSU has been outrebounded just twice in 21 games this season.
* Kristin Haynie had a career-high 14 rebounds and added 10 points for her third double-double of the season and sixth of her career. Her previous career best in rebounds was 12 at Ohio State, Jan. 15, 2004.
* Victoria Lucas-Perry also had a career-high in rebounds with 10. Her previous best was nine at Toledo Dec. 13, 2003.
* Lindsay Bowen's 12 points moved her up one notch to ninth in MSU history in career scoring with 1,117 points.
* Liz Shimek had nine rebounds in addition to her 13 points. She moved up to sixth in Spartan history with 709 career rebounds, and cracked the Top 25 in career scoring, jumping up two spots to 24th with 937 points.
