+ With nine assists, Chris Hill moved into eighth place on the all-time assists chart at Michigan State, passing Kevin Smith (348 assists). He also finished with no turnovers, nine points and five steals.
+ Michigan State recorded assists on 26 of its 31 baskets. The 26 assists equaled the season high, set previously against Florida A&M (11/19). On the season, MSU has recorded an assist on 68 percent of its baskets. Drew Neitzel and Chris Hill combined for 15 of the 26 assists, and neither guard had a turnover.
