EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State junior center Paul Davis (Rochester, Mich.) was named men's basketball Big Ten Player of the Week on Monday, Dec. 13. Davis scored a season-high 20 points against Stanford in a 78-53 victory, while also grabbing a team-best eight rebounds. He shot 7-of-12 from the field and 6-of-7 from the foul line, adding an assist and a steal in 30 minutes. The game was the 10th 20-point performance of his career. On the season, Davis is second on the team in scoring at 13.3 points per game and leads the squad with 7.0 boards per contest.
