Wrestlers Garner Awards At Annual Banquet

The Michigan State wrestling team celebrated the accomplishments of the season at the annual wrestling awards banquet at the Holiday Inn-South in Lansing. The award recipients were:
Most Outstanding Wrestler: Gray Maynard
Most Falls: Nick Simmons (11)
Most Exciting Wrestler: Ryan L'Amoreaux
Tom Muir Most Improved Award: Rashad Evans
Commitment Award: Alec Kowalewski, Shane Martin, Charles Sageman, John Wechter
Outstanding Freshman: Nick Simmons
Special Moment Award: Arsen Aleksanyan, Mike Keenan
Grady Peninger Scholastic Achievement Award: Alec Kowalewski (3.92 GPA over past two semesters, 3.7 overall)
Perseverance Award: Karl Nadolsky
Collins-Mikles Leadership Award: Nik Fekete
