EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State men's basketball head coach Tom Izzo will join Greg Gumbel and Clark Kellogg on the CBS studio set in New Orleans for the network's coverage of the Final Four. The coverage tips-off on Saturday with "The Final Four Show" which runs from 4-6 p.m. ET. Kansas faces Marquette in the first national semifinal beginning at 6:07 p.m., followed by Texas vs. Syracuse. Izzo will assist Gumbel and Kellogg with pre-game, halftime and post-game analysis. On Sunday, Izzo will appear on "The Final Two Show" (3:30-4:30 p.m. ET), a one-hour preview of Monday's championship game. Monday evening's championship game will be preceded by "Prelude to a Championship", which airs at 9 p.m., featuring analysis from Gumbel, Kellogg and Izzo.
"It's going to be a lot of fun for me," said Izzo. "It will also be great exposure for both the Spartan basketball program and Michigan State University. I know all four teams pretty well and I hope to add some insight from a coach's perspective. We've played both Texas and Syracuse this season, I've seen a lot of Kansas games and have a ton of respect for Roy Williams, and of course with Tom Crean at Marquette, they've kind of taken the blueprint we've used."
