Gebauer Takes Pole Vault at Simpson Twilight Open

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State track freshman Brad Gebauer (Bad Axe) won the pole vault at Friday's (April 25) Simpson Twilight Open in Indianola, Iowa. Gebauer was the lone Spartan competing at the meet, hosted by Simpson College, and won the competition by clearing a height of 16-03. After that, he had three attempts at clearing what would have been a track-track record 17-00 ?.
