Women's Soccer Set For Weekend Travel

EAST LANSING, Mich.-- The Michigan State women's soccer team will travel to play two non-conference matches against Colorado College on Friday, Oct. 31 at 5 p.m. and New Mexico on Sunday, Nov. 2 at 1 p.m. Both games will be played in Colarado Springs, Colo. The Spartans enter Friday's match with a 10-7 overall record, after winning at Kent State, 2-0, on Sunday, Oct. 26. The Tigers enter the match with a 6-8-2 overall record. New Mexico currently holds an overall record of 2-9-4.

The Colorado College Tigers shutout the Spartans, 1-0, in 1990, while this will be the first time in Michigan State history the Spartans defend themselves against the New Mexico Lobos.
