Women's Soccer Hosts Mid-American Conference Team Wednesday Afternoon

EAST LANSING, Mich.-- The Michigan State women's soccer team will play host to Bowling Green on Wednesday, Oct. 15 at 4 p.m. at Old College Field. The Spartans enter the non-conference match with a 7-6 overall record (3-4 Big Ten), after losing to Indiana, 2-3 in overtime on Sunday, Oct. 12. The Falcons enter the match with a 6-7-1 overall record (4-3-1 MAC).

Last season, the Spartans defeated Bowling Green, 4-0. In the seven meetings between the two teams, the Spartans have lost only one match. In 1999, the Falcons won in overtime, 3-2.

MSU continues home action at Old College Field on Sunday (Oct. 19) when it hosts Iowa at 12 p.m.
