Men's Track And Field Team Heads To Western Michigan

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State men's track and field will be traveling to Kalamazoo, Mich., for the Western Michigan Invitational, April 20. The Spartans will be competing against Central Michigan, Bowling Green and host school Western Michigan in a quad competition.
A select group of Spartans will be heading to a nationally-renowned competition in California. The 44th-annual Mt. SAC Relays will hold multi-event competition at Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, Calif., starting Thursday, April 18. Senior Jeff Kus (Grand Ledge, Mich.) will start at 11 a.m. in the California Invitational Decathlon and senior Paul Terek (Livonia, Mich.) will participate in the Mt. SAC Relays Decathlon at 1 p.m.
The rest of the field events will take place at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, Calif., at the Hilmer Lodge Stadium, Friday through Sunday (April 19-21). Senior Matt Deering (Dowagiac, Mich.) and Terek will be participating in the pole vault competition, Kus will participate in the high jump and sophomore Steve Manz (West Branch, Mich.) will throw the shot put and discuss.
