EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Big Ten recently honored sophomore Jamie Krzyminski (Corunna, Mich.) as Big Ten Athlete of the Week after she placed 10th overall and sixth among all collegiate runners in the 10,000-meter run at the Stanford Invitational on March 29. Her time of 33:58.89 automatically qualified her for the NCAA championships scheduled for May 29-June 1 in Baton Rouge, La., and also made her the third fastest Spartan on the MSU all-time outdoor performance list in the 10,000-meters.
