EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State men's basketball head coach Tom Izzo will coach a group of college all-stars against the Harlem Globetrotters in the "NABC Roundball Challenge." The game tips-off Final Four Weekend at Georgia Tech's Alexander Memorial Coliseum in Atlanta, on Friday, March 29. Izzo will be assisted by Jud Heathcote, the winningest head coach in Michigan State history.
Izzo will coach the NABC College All-Star roster, a collection of 12 top college seniors. Players on the team will include NABC National Defensive Player of the Year John Linehan of Providence, Georgia Tech's Tony Akins, Texas Tech's Andy Ellis, Georgia State's Thomas Terrell, Hawaii's Predrag Savovic, Oregon's Frederick Jones and Southern Illinois' Rolan Roberts.

This is the third year that a group of college all-stars have competed against the Globetrotters. The Globetrotters have won the last two games, posting a 75-63 victory in 2001 and an 82-80 win in 2000.
