Select Spartans Head To The 28th Annual Stanford Invitational

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State men's and women's track and field team will send a number of representatives to the Stanford Invitational this weekend (March 29-30) in Palo Alto, Calif. Action will start at 1 p.m. PST on Friday (March 29) and at 9 a.m. PST on Saturday (March 30) at Cobb Track and Angell Field.
The women will send sophomores Michelle Carson (Winnipeg, Manitoba), Jamie Krzyminski (Corunna, Mich.)and junior Cindy Durocher (Parry Sound, Ontario) to represent the women's track and field team.
Seniors Paul Terek (Livonia, Mich.), Ben Logan (Harrisburg, Ore.), Jeff Kus (Grand Ledge, Mich.), Matt Deering (Dowagiac, Mich.) and sophomore Steve Manz (West Branch, Mich.) will represent the men's team in field events. Runners include juniors Andy Lixey (East Tawas, Mich.), Andrew Alley (Calgary, Alberta), Wilson Ogbeide (Nigeria), sophomores Ben Evans (Bloomfield Hills, Mich.), Jason Mueller (Shelby, Ohio), Steve Sherer (Saline, Mich.), and freshman Kevin Clary (Kalispell, Mont.).
