Women's Golf Heads To NMSU Give'em Five Intercollegiate

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State women's golf team heads to its third tournament of the fall season - the New Mexico State Give'em Five Intercollegiate Oct. 7-9 at the University Golf Course in Las Cruces, N.M. The University Golf Course measures 6,303 yards and is a par 72. Tee times will begin at 7:30 a.m. MT on Monday and Tuesday, with a shotgun start on Wednesday at 8 a.m. MT.
Teams competing in this year's tournament include: Arkansas-Little Rock, Arkansas State, Baylor, Louisville, Nebraska, New Mexico, New Orleans, North Texas, Northern Arizona, Oklahoma, San Diego State, San Jose State, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Texas Christian, Texas-El Paso, Texas Tech, UNLV and Western New Mexico along with host New Mexico State.
The Give'Em Five Intercollegiate marks the third competition for the Spartans this fall. Michigan State opened up with the NCAA Fall Preview Sept. 15-17 and finished in 16th place. The Spartans also hosted the Mary Fossum Invitational Sept. 21-22 and placed third.
Following the Give'Em Five Intercollegiate, Michigan State closes out the fall season at the Mercedes Benz Intercollegiate at the University of Tennessee Oct. 18-20.
