Limited Number Of Men's Basketball Season Tickets Available

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Approximately 250 season tickets are still available for the upcoming 2002-03 Michigan State men's basketball season. The "Fan Plan" allows Spartan fans the opportunity to purchase tickets for all 18 games in the Breslin Center this season for just $180.
Michigan State begins the home schedule on Friday, Nov. 1 with an exhibition contest against the Magic Johnson All-Stars at 7 p.m. The regular-season opens Friday, Nov. 22 against UNC Asheville at 7 p.m. MSU's non-conference schedule includes home games against top programs such as Virginia (Dec. 4) and Syracuse (Feb. 23). Other teams such as South Florida (Dec. 21) and Toledo (Dec. 30) are consistent participants in postseason tournaments. The Big Ten season tips off against Ohio State on Jan. 9 at 7 p.m. In addition to the Buckeyes, Penn State (Jan. 22), Indiana (Jan. 28), Illinois (Feb. 2), Northwestern (Feb. 15), Minnesota (Feb. 26), Purude (March 1) and Iowa (March 5) all make trips to the Breslin Center.
Basketball fans can also purchase four-game Holiday Packs. Games against Loyola (Dec. 17), South Florida (Dec. 21), Jacksonville State (Dec. 28) and Toledo (Dec. 30) are included in this package while MSU students are on semester break. Lower bench Holiday Packs are $96, while upper bench packages are $48.
Tickets may be purchased through the MSU Athletic Ticket Office in Jenison Field House in person, or by calling 517-355-1610 or 1-800-GO-STATE outside the Lansing area. Tickets may also be purchased online at www.msuspartans.com. The ticket office is open Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
