Adam Wolfe Leads Big Ten Team With 21 Points

LONDON, England - Michigan State forward Adam Wolfe (Westerville, Ohio) scored 21 points to lead the Men's Basketball Big Ten Tour team to a 107-82 victory over the London Towers on Sunday at the Hackney College Sports Hall in London. With the win, the Big Ten squad improved to 3-0 on its six game trip.
The Big Ten team connected on six of its first seven shots and went on an 18-5 run to end the first quarter with a 35-18 advantage. Wolfe scored seven points in a first quarter that saw the Big Ten team hit on 13-of-19 shots, including six three-pointers. The London Towers represent England in the Euroleague and are regarded as one of the nation's top teams.
Wolfe's 21 points led eight players in double figures. For the game, Wolfe shot 9-of-15 from the field while also grabbing a team-best nine rebounds. Spartan teammate Jason Andreas (Sugarcreek, Ohio) was held scoreless but did grab five rebounds.
The Big Ten team will travel to Ireland on Monday and then face the Waterford Crystal Basketball Club in Waterford, Ireland on Tuesday.
