No. 14 Michigan State Wrestling Defeats Eastern Michigan, 39-7

YPSILANTI, Mich. - The Michigan State wrestling team earned its third straight victory of the weekend with a win over Eastern Michigan, Sunday. The Spartans, ranked 14th in the nation, won the meet, 39-7, at Bowen Fieldhouse in Ypsilanti. The win gave Michigan State its second victory of the day as it handed No. 25 Penn State a 23-12 loss earlier in the afternoon in East Lansing. The victory improves MSU's record to 8-7 while Eastern Michigan drops to 9-12-2 in dual meet action.
The Spartans dominated the dual meet, collecting two falls and three technical falls. At 149 pounds, Karl Nadolsky recorded his fifth fall of the season. Spartan heavyweight Mike Keenan tallied the first fall of his college career, pinning EMU's Derrick Parker at 6:34.
At 133 pounds, No. 4 Pat McNamara scored a 19-3 technical fall to record the 106th victory of his career, good for ninth best all-time at MSU.
Eastern Michigan's third ranked Mike Feeney continued his outstanding career with a 13-1 technical fall over Spartan wrestler Matt Koyl in the 174-pound match.
The No.14 Michigan State wrestling team will take on Oklahoma in its home finale at Jenison Fieldhouse on Friday, Feb. 23 at 7:30 p.m.
