EAST LANSING, MICH. - The MSU men's and women's track squads will open their indoor seasons a day early next weekend. The MSU Invitational, which was originally scheduled on Jan. 13, will be held a day early due to scheduling conflict with other university sports.

The Invitational is scheduled to begin on Jan. 12 at 3 p.m. with the field events. The running events will follow at 5 p.m.

Schools that are expected to participate include: Western Michigan, Detroit-Mercy and Aquinas.

Nicole Bush earned All-America honors in the 3,000-meter steeplechase for MSU.
