Freshman Trackster Competes In Olympic Trial

EAST LANSING, Mich. - MSU school record holder in the javelin, Lynlee Phillips (Shamong, N.J.), competed in the US Olympic Trials in Sacramento, Cal. Phillips throw of 147' 7" in the semifinal round did not qualify her for the top twelve that advanced to the finals.
Her personal best throw of 169'3" at the Big Ten Championships qualified her for the trials.
