Two Spartan Wrestlers Named To AWN All-Rookie Team

East Lansing, Mich. - Two freshman wrestlers from Michigan State have been named to the Amateur Wrestling News (AWN) All-Rookie Team.
Gray Maynard (Las Vegas, Nev.) was listed at No. 2 at 157, while fellow rookie Karl Nadolsky (Holland, Mich.) was listed fifth. Both were NCAA qualifiers in their first season for the Green and White.
The last Spartan freshman recognized by AWN was All-American freshman Pat McNamara (Jordan, Minn.) in 1998.
