Men's Soccer Ends Regular Season With Tie

East Lansing, Mich. - he Michigan State men's soccer team tied Bowling Green 1-1 to put an end to the Spartans five-game winning streak. The Spartans are now 10-5-2 (4-1-1 in the Big Ten) on the season and are 5-0-2 in their last six games. BGSU is now 8-7-1.
Bowling Green struck first on a goal by Kevin Wisniewski at the 29:07 mark to stake a 1-0 halftime lead. The Falcons clinged to the 1-0 lead until the 77th minute when sophomore NIck DeGraw (Clinton Twp.) beat red-shirt freshman keeper Michael Began to tie the game at 1. DeGraw's goal came off a header from corner kick by junior Steve Arce (Windsor, Ont.).
The Spartans, who have secured second place in the Big Ten standings, will next play November 10 at the Big Ten Tournament in Columbus, Oh. The Big Ten Brackett will be decided this Sunday.
