Big Ten Wrestling Coaches' Poll Released

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The first Big Ten Wrestling Coaches' Poll of the 1999 season was released Fri., Jan. 15. The poll, which ranks the top five individuals in each weight class, included four members of the Michigan State wrestling squad.
Pat McNamara (So., Jordan, Minn.), who is currently ranked second in the nation, earned the top spot in the conference at 133 pounds. Will Hill (Jr., Indianapolis), ranked seventh in the nation, is fifth at 174, while Nick Muzashvili (Jr., Unadilla, N.Y.) is fourth in the Big Ten at 197, while holding a sixth-place ranking nationally. Matt Lamb (So., Pensacola, Fla.), ranked 14th in the nation, is fourth in the heavyweight class.
