EAST LANSING, Mich.- Michigan State women's tennis team fell to the 26th-ranked Wisconsin Badgers, 7-0, on Sunday, April 26, to finish out the regular season of the spring dual matches. The Spartans will head into the Big Ten tournament with a 10-10 overall record (1-8 Big Ten).
Although MSU did not win the doubles point, once again the Spartan duo of freshman Natasha Skogerboe and sophomore Brooke Townsend began the competition with a doubles victory. The tandem won its 21st victory, with a win over Wisconsin's Dena Baritot and April Gabler, 8-4, at the No. 3 position.

MSU junior Isabell Oelze and Townsend each came within a point of winning the first game of their singles matches before falling.
