Men's Track Competes in Hillsdale

The Michigan State men's track and field team competed in the Hillsdale "Gina" Relays in Hillsdale, Mich., on Saturday, April 24.
Sophomore Paul Terek (Livonia, Mich.) won the pole vault for the Spartans with a leap of 16' 1.25". In the long jump, junior Okoineme Giwa-Agbomeirele (Midland, Mich.) captured second place with a season-best mark of 24' 6.75".
Also placing in the top three was sophomore Eric Mikula (Troy, Mich.) who placed third in the shot put (49' 2") and hammer throw (158' 9.51").
Michigan State returns to action next Saturday, May 1, at the Central Collegiate Championships in Kalamazoo, Mich. The Spartans will also be in action on Sunday, May 2, at the Jesse Owens Classic in Columbus, Ohio.
